La literatura para fagot y piano dirigida a los niveles iniciales es muy abundante, pero ello no quiere decir que no haya que seguir enriqueciéndola.
Lo que no siempre es fácil de encontrar, aunque las hay, son obras con un acompañamiento de piano del mismo nivel que la parte de fagot. Este es uno de los motivos, aunque no el único, que me ha llevado a elaborar esta obra.
"10 piezas fáciles para fagot y piano"
Una de las carencias de los instrumentistas de mi promoción fue la falta de un estudio básico del piano, tal como se hace hoy día, aunque aquel sistema tenía sus aspectos positivos. Algunos hemos paliado en mayor o menor medida y de una u otra forma aquella carencia. Por ello, en esta obra han primado dos cosas, la primera, que la parte de fagot sea lo suficientemente asequible para el alumno para que pueda presentarse a una audición pública obteniendo un resultado aceptable y la segunda, que la parte de piano sea lo suficientemente fácil para que los profesores con un mínimo conocimiento del piano podamos tocar las piezas junto al alumno durante las clases, e incluso en las audiciones.
A menudo resulta también complicado encontrar profesores pianistas que puedan acompañar a estos alumnos de los primeros cursos. Con este libro será más sencillo encontrar alumnos de piano, o incluso los mismos alumnos de fagot que cursan la asignatura de piano complementario, para que acompañen a los pequeños.
La digitación de la parte de piano es orientativa y es la que a mí me ha resultado adecuada ya que casi todas las piezas han sido interpretadas en audiciones de alumnos de fagot en las que el pianista acompañante ha sido un servidor. De hecho, la obra empezó a gestarse el año 2012 y ha visto la luz en 2016, cuatro años más tarde.
La obra consta de 10 piezas, unas originales y otras basadas en temas de canciones populares infantiles, canciones que los niños de las actuales generaciones desconocen en su mayoría, con lo que he intentado también contribuir a difundir estas melodías tradicionales.
Para no olvidarnos de las posibilidades que nos ofrece la tecnología en la actualidad para hacer más agradable el aprendizaje, la publicación viene acompañada con un CD de audio, que se adquiere opcionalmente, y en el que aparecen las pistas con la parte de piano solo de las diez piezas. Así, el alumno también podrá practicar en casa con los acompañamientos y adquirir más seguridad en la interpretación.
Todos los materiales han sido elaborados cuidando al máximo la calidad y han sido revisados concienzudamente para minimizar la aparición de errores, aun así, el proceso es largo y complejo y siempre es posible que se escape algo. Espero que no haya sido así y que la publicación esté a la altura de mis expectativas.

Por último, algunos se preguntarán por qué todos mis trabajos están publicados en CreateSpace. La respuesta es sencilla, cuando publiqué mi primera obra me dirigí a todas las editoriales de música que conocía en España, de todas a la que solicité información sólo una se tomó la molestia de contestarme y después de enviarles toda la información tampoco se preocuparon ni siquiera en decir que no les interesaba. Tampoco es que esperara otra cosa, pero había que intentarlo.
Después de dar muchas vueltas llegué a CreateSpace, donde lo único que piden es que cumplas sus requisitos técnicos. El éxito de la obra ya es cuestión de cada uno.
Eso sí, la obra está publicada en Estados Unidos, con lo cual estoy contribuyendo a enriquecer la estadística editorial de aquel país.

Literature for bassoon and piano for basic levels is very abundant, but that does not mean that we cannot continue enrichening it. However, it is not always easy to find although there are works with piano accompaniment with the same level as the bassoon part. This is one reason, but not the only, which has led me to develop this work.
One of the shortcomings of the musicians of my promotion was the lack of a basic study of the piano, as is done today, although that system had its positive aspects. Some of us have mitigated this limitation more or less. Therefore, in this work they have primacy two things, first, that the bassoon part be easy enough for the student and in this way, they can achieve a good public performance. Second, the piano part must be enough easy for teachers with less skill, so they will be able to play these pieces on the piano during class and even in the auditions.
It is also often difficult to find pianists players for accompany these students in the early stages. With this book to find piano students, or even the same bassoon students taking the subject of complementary piano, to accompany the children will be easier. To not forget the possibilities offered by our nowadays technology to make learning more enjoyable, the publication is accompanied by an audio CD which is optionally acquired. This CD contains eleven tracks with the piano part alone. Thus, the student can practice at home with accompaniments and acquire more security in their interpretation.
All materials have been developed taking care of quality and have been reviewed carefully to minimize mistakes, yet the process is long and complex and it is always possible that some mistake appears. I hope it do not occur and the publication will live up to my expectations.

Finally, some maybe wonder why all my works are published in CreateSpace. The answer is simple, when I began to publish my first work, I asked for information to all music publishers who I knew in Spain. Only one of them it takes the bother to answer and after I had sent them all information I had not any answer from them. I not expected something else but had to try.

The success of the work is already a matter of each. Yes, the work is published in the United States, so with that I am helping to enrich the publishing statistics in that country.
