The Bassoon Low Register

The book "The Bassoon Low Register" is part of the Colección Iberfagot, a series of notebooks aimed at helping in the beginnings of bassoon teaching. In this case, it is especially focused on the technical part, in terms of the lower register.

This register is always hard to study for beginners, especially the left-hand part. That is why you need a specific job in which you learn to place your left hand well and to learn the needed a different embouchure.

This notebook is intended as a progressive study guide for this part of the bassoon technique. It can begin to be used, when the students already have a certain mastery of the instrument, towards the middle of the first year, and later, until they acquire an adequate mastery of this register.

The daily practice of these exercises will make the progress much more satisfactory and that the students will not drag the difficulties of the low notes for years.
