The Semura Sonora ensemble launches a crowdfunding campaign to finance the release of their first CD.

The Semura Sonora ensemble is lead by virtuous oboist form Zamora (Spain) Clara Espinosa Encinas and the French Jullien-Laferrière. One of his main projects is to recover and bring to light the music of the cathedral of Zamora, carrying out an exhaustive work of musicological research and making magnificent transcriptions of the recovered works. In this way, with the collaboration of excellent soloists and the invaluable dedication of the chamber choir Camerata Primo Tempo, conducted by Mercedes Lorenzo Arnaz, the public can once again listen to a repertoire hitherto unknown and of great musical and historical interest, and the city of Zamora sees its artistic, historical and cultural heritage increased in a more than significant way.

With this crowdfunding project Semura Sonora aims to reach the amount necessary to finance the recording of his first CD around the music of holy week in Zamora at the beginning of the eighteenth century.

The fundraising campaign has been launched through the platform ULULE and you can make both selfless donations and in exchange for obtaining some kind of reward, such as having access to the album before its release and, in addition, you can contribute from € 1. At the time of writing, they have already reached about 50% of their goal.
